Medical Dermatology
Providing the very best medical care for our patients is our number one priority during each patient encounter. Our physicians specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of skin disorders in patients of all ages. Some of the common skin conditions that we treat include:
Surgical Dermatology
Our physicians are expertly trained in the art of dermatologic surgery and routinely biopsy and excise both benign and malignant tumors of the skin.
Image-Guided Superficial Radiation Therapy (IG-SRT)
We are excited to be able to offer our patients a safe, highly effective FDA approved nonsurgical treatment for basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. As the first and only skin cancer treatment with high-frequency ultrasound imaging, Image-Guided SRT provides a 99% cure rate in basal and squamous cell carcinomas.^1 While Mohs micrographic surgery has long been considered the gold standard treatment for non-melanoma skin cancer, IG-SRT is an ideal treatment for patients who are not surgical candidates due to advancing age, preexisting medical conditions, or concerns regarding cosmetic or functional outcomes with an extensive surgical procedure.

Levulan Kerastick + BLU-U Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)
Photodynamic therapy is indicated for the treatment of minimally to moderately thick actinic keratoses (precancers) of the face, scalp, or upper extremities. PDT utilizes light in conjunction with a photosensitizing agent to produce singlet oxygen within the epidermis that results in destruction of precancerous lesions. This offers us the ability to treat multiple actinic keratoses over a larger surface area and penetrate to the root of the precancerous lesions.

Cosmetic Dermatology
While our primary focus is on medical dermatology, we do offer some cosmetic services to our patients which include the following:
Botox
Botox Cosmetic is a prescription medication that is injected into facial muscles to reduce or eliminate wrinkles. Botox provides a temporary reduction in wrinkles, typically lasting 3 months. Injecting Botox is a simple, in-office, nonsurgical procedure with no recovery time.
Fillers
Fillers are products that are injected directly under the skin to restore volume and fullness. Effects from fillers typically last 9-12 months. Injecting fillers is an in-office, nonsurgical procedure that may require a short recovery time due to possible bruising and swelling.
Laser
Facial telangiectasias are dilated superficial blood vessels that commonly occur on the face in patients that suffer from rosacea. Telangiectasias can develop from a number of factors including chronic sun damage, genetic factors, and chronic inflammatory processes that involve the facial skin. Vascular lasers can be used to reduce the appearance of these telangiectasias without damaging the overlying skin. Multiple treatments may be needed to achieve optimal cosmetic results.
